We are building our Team
We're working together for a better, brighter future for all the people of the Stroud Area, which incorporates; Bisley & Painswick, Cam Valley, Dursley, Hardwick & Severn, Haresfield & Upton St Leonards, Minchinhampton, Nailsworth, Rodborough, Stonehouse, Stroud Central and Wotton-Under-Edge.
In August, Reform UK's New Chairman, Dr David Bull, visited Gloucestershire as part of his Nationwide Tour - watch the video below and click here to read an extract from Dr David Bull's own "Weekly Update" from his Chairman's Tour.
We're building the branch team so we can all pull together

Since our launch 12 months ago, we managed to get enough volunteers and with your donations we were able to run the local government campaign across all the available seats in the Gloucester County Council (GCC) and Stroud District Council (SDC) elections winning two seats in the Stroud Division which, from a standing start, was amazing!.
Since then, Tewkesbury branch won another district seat and as the official opposition in GCC with a total team of 11 Councillors, we have been allocated a fully paid political assistant. This person has just been recruited and started his role - he will no doubt be introduced to you by the regional team shortly.
With this team now in place, we are in a much better position, having fought our way to achieve a foothold in the local system.

At this point, we can take a breath and begin the process of establishing the branch you deserve. An interim branch team is in place and we're putting together a draft strategy for Stroud.
We aim to launch the branch this Winter - updates to follow on this. We then intend to publish and share our strategy for;
* The four-year plan to Victory in 2029 and,
* The 12-month plan to Summer 2026.
It's time to celebrate and start planning for the future

We're shortly going to announce to our enlarged Stroud Branch Launch plans including a get-together after our veery successsful Pub Quiz social at the Badger in October.
It will be a social evening. A chance to reflect and celebrate together the success of Reform Nationally and locally.
We're also putting together local Divisional teams made up of members who are also willing to volunteer to help ReformUK Stroud branch succeed in the future too . Join today to get your invitation!
P.S. If you didn't manage to attend 'The Next Step Conference 2025' in Birmingham in Sept'25 then you can catch up with Nigel's barnstoring speech here on YouTube along with many other videos from the conference on Reform UK's YouTube Channel.

The following are key milestones that sit within our four year plan;
* Stroud District Council Elections in 2027
* Candidate selection and campaign initiation 2027/ 2028
* General Election 2029??
These milestones are the focal points to aim for and whilst 2029 feels painfully far away - if we meet quarterly, it is actually only 16 branch meetings away....
We also need to build our 'Battle Chest' to help pay for the leaflets, banners and other support tools, so if you can....
